#i don’t think ppl talk enough abt the amount of miscommunication that led to scott and allison breaking up#the tragedy in that had there been no werewolf business their relationship might have worked out so well#looking back it’s super horrifying that stiles told him that his anchor was allison#when it wasn’t it was LOVE; because that’s what drives scott mccall every day whether it’s wanting to be loved or actively loving#the fact that this was rooted in his head and then proved again and again is SUCH A FUCKING TRAGEDY#thank god for melissa mccall for expounding that you find someone else that another person will come#but even then that doesn’t erase the fact that scott has acted and still believes that allison was/is his anchor against the werewolf and th#at the actions he’s done is all mixed up in his feelings for her and his desperation to keep his anchor; is it any wonder now?#but even worse is that allison doesn’t know because scott has never completely confided (if he could even recognize) how he pedestalized her#by mistake and how it coloured so much of their interactions ever since like IT’S SO SAD THAT THEY NEVER GOT A CHANCE TO BE NORMAL#THEY NEVER GOT A /CHANCE/
